Monsoon visits twice in Sri Lanka due to its tropical climate. One is during October to January and the second one is during May to July. It is advisable to visit Sri Lanka during its dry season. And from March to June Nuwara Eliya is best to visit. Overall for a Sri Lanka vacation December to March is the best time as weather is at its driest.
