The Bombay Presidency Golf Club, Mumbai - West India

The 110-acre Bombay Presidency Golf Club at Chembur is a green haven in an otherwise urban, throbbing and bustling city of Mumbai. The club was first built in 1927 then re-designed by Peter Thompson with the Indian Ocean winds in mind. Excellent greens, tight fairways and an unusual hazard at the 16th hole, an elephant pit is noteworthy. It is not a difficult course; not to narrow, not too long and yet not an easy course to break par.

(Closed on Mondays. Visitors need endorsement from Members to pay green fee and play.)
